Chapatti Laddoo is a tasty snacks
made from fresh or leftover chapattis. We always make a specific number of
chapattis for breakfast or tiffin but sometimes it happens that the chapattis
are leftover. If chapattis are leftover then this is the best way to consume
the leftover chapattis. We have some other options too to finish up the
leftover chapatti like make Chapatti Upma or you can make Chapatti Noodles. But
here at my place I need some sweets every time as my daughter and husband love
to enjoy sweets after dinner every day. For this recipe you can use fresh
chapattis as I used, just follow the steps and within few minutes the yummy
laddoos are ready. Chapatti laddoo is an easy and delicious sweet with fresh or
leftover chapatti or roti.

Something that should be healthy, filling and at the same time should not take
long to cook. Here is one such easy sweet recipe which can be made in a jiffy
with just 3 ingredients. These laddoos are an excellent and healthy snack for
kids, you can serve them as a dessert. If your kids are not fond of chapatti then this is the best way to feed them
chapatti. Just grind them with jaggery in a mixer pot and add some ghee and
chopped nuts and serve them this fresh chapatti laddoos. The Instant Chapatti
Laddoo can also be served as after school sweet snack or to satisfy hunger or
sweet cravings. Yes… this is also one of the best ways to utilize the left over
chapatti or make it with fresh chapatti as I have prepared.
INGREDIENTS:
For Making Chapatti:
1 Cup Wheat Flour
Salt as needed
1 teaspoon Oil
Water as required to knead the
dough
For Laddoo:
5-6 Chapattis
¾ -1 Cup Grated Jaggery
2-3 tablespoon Ghee / Clarified
Butter
½ teaspoon Cardamom Powder
5-6 Chopped Almonds
5-6 Cahsews
6-7 Raisins
METHOD:
For Making Chapatti:
STEP 1 – In a mixing bowl, add
wheat flour, salt and oil and mix it well using hands.
STEP 2 – Now start making a dough
by adding water little by little. You have to make a smooth chapatti dough.
STEP 3 – Divide the dough in
equal portions and make chapattis with it.
STEP 4 – Roast the chapatti as we do it regularly

on a hot tawa on medium-low flame and make them crispy.

STEP 5 – Remove and keep aside
till they cool down.
For Making Laddoo:
STEP 1 – Now break the chapattis
into small pieces.
Take all in a mixer pot or blender and pulse them few times in it.

coarse powder of chapatti, so grind it accordingly.
STEP 5 – Heat ghee in a small
tempering pan and add cashews and raisins in it and roast until the cashews
changes its colour to golden brown.
Remove it and keep aside with chopped almonds.
STEP 6 – Add chopped and fried nuts to the ground jaggery-chapatti mixture. Add cardamom powder and mix well.

STEP 7 – Now heat ghee in small
pan and add it to the chapatti mixture when it is hot.

You can serve them immediately as a snack or dessert.
You can store them in an air tight container in refrigerator or at room temperature and can relish them 3-4 days.
NOTES: *Break chapattis into small pieces, put them on a baking tray and bake in oven for 5-10 minutes to make them crispy.
*Using hot ghee helps to roll the laddoos easily.
