CHOCOLATE MAWA KULFI

Mawa Kulfi –A sweet Indian ice-cream made from milk, condensed milk, grated chocolate and mawa. This is a best Indian dessert that kids love in hot summer days. Instead of buying readymade stuff which has artificial flavouring agent, follow this simple recipe and make kulfi at home with pure organic flavours with a twist of chocolate.

Kulfi is undoubtedly India’s best sweet dessert on a stick. This classic, creamy, traditional Indian ice-cream centuries old and has passed down from Mughal kitchens. Patience is the key to make an authentic homemade kulfi recipe. I coated them with finely chopped pistachios and almonds which added a good nutty texture to the kulfi . So here is the recipe, hope you like it ,if yes then please comment in the comment box below.

INGREDIENTS:

 ½ Cup Chocolate Grated

½ Cup Condensed Milk

¾ Cup Mawa Grated [Khoya]

1 Litre Milk

METHOD:

STEP 1- Heat milk in a saucepan and bring it ti boil. Let it boil, stirring continuously, till reduced to one-third the original quantity.

STEP 2 – Add mawa and mix well. Then add condensed milk and reduce for 5 minutes more.

STEP 3 – Take it off the heat and add grated chocolate, leaving aside some for garnish and mix well.

STEP 4 – Transfer the mixture into kulfi moulds. Sprinkle the remaining grated chocolate on the top and close the lid of the moulds.

STEP 5 – Keep the kulfi mould in the deep freezer and allow to set. You can use plastic kulfi moulds too for setting your kulfi.
