NO YEAST DOUGHNUTS

It’s doughnuts time again… This is my another batch of doughnuts which is without yeast. I loved the recipe and so I could not stop myself to try this. I can never stop making new doughnuts recipes whenever I get time. This is yeast free recipe and very easy which requires very short time, that is made under 10 minutes. Total time taken for the full recipe is only 30-40 minutes. It is made with baking powder. This batch actually made for my bro’s kids with extra love. I would say that this is the best doughnuts recipe, very light and soft. Hope you all love this recipe and don’t forget to share your experience.

INGREDIENTS:

2 Cups All Purpose Flour

¼ Teaspoon Salt

2 Teaspoon Baking Powder

½ Cup Powdered Sugar

½ Cup Milk [ take slightly less otherwise the dough will become sticky ]

1 Teaspoon Vanilla Essence

1 Egg

1 Tablespoon Melted Butter

Oil [frying]

For Glazing:

Melted Chocolate [as per required]

Desired Sprinkles

METHOD:

STEP 1 – Take flour, salt, baking powder in a bowl and mix it well and set aside.

STEP 2 – In another bowl take egg, milk, sugar, vanilla essence and melted butter  and whisk using a whisk or fork.

STEP 3 – Now add the flour mixture in this egg mixture and make a soft dough using hands.

STEP 4 – Take a portion of dough, roll out it on a platform with rolling pin. The thickness of the rolled dough should be up to ½ inch.

STEP 5 – Now using a cutter or a small cup, shape the doughnuts. In the middle, shape it with a bottle cap. Use the scarp with the remaining batch of dough.

STEP 6 – Now repeat the same procedure with the remaining dough.

STEP 7 – Just finish the entire batch of dough.

STEP 8 – Heat oil in the wide pan and fry the doughnuts. Let drop two/ three doughnuts at a time. Fry them till golden brown from both the sides.

STEP 9 – Remove them on a kitchen towel to drain excess oil from them. Keep them aside to cool.

STEP 10 – Melt the dark chocolate for glazing. Dip the doughnuts in the melted chocolate and keep them on a wire rack for removing extra chocolate.

STEP 11 – Now garnish them with different sprinkles. Keep them in refrigerator until the chocolate sets and harden.

                 Remove them and serve.

NOTE: I prefer to microwave them for ½ minute and then serve. You can serve them at children’s birthday party.
