face of this planet that is loaded with nutrients-flax seeds. Experts and
nutritionists recommended a tablespoon
of flax seeds a day meet your essential, daily nutritional requirement.
However, you need to be watchful of the way you consume flax seeds. These are
brown in colour and come with a hard, crunchy covering. Flax seeds, if not
chewed properly would render no benefit to your body, this is one of the
biggest reasons why many like to soak it before consuming or simply have it in
the ground or powdered form.
Why have flax seeds ?
Flax seeds are enriched with some of the most essential and

INGREDIENTS:
1 Cup Flax Seeds (alsi / jawas)
15-20 Garlic Cloves (lehsun / lasun)
9-10 Red Dry Chillies / 15-20 Black pepper seeds [you can
also use red chilli powder accordingly]
Salt as per taste
METHOD:
STEP 1 – Roast flax seeds on low flame until it starts
crackling. You can also roast flax seeds in microwave oven for 3 minutes. Let
it cool down completely.
STEP 2 – Roast the red chillies with a teaspoon of oil.
STEP 3 – Mix roasted flax seeds, garlic (lehsun), roasted
red chillies and salt and make a coarse
powder of it in the grinder.
STEP 4 – Store this flax seeds chutney in air tight container.
It has 15-20 days of shelf life and there is no need to refrigerate this
recipe.
Serve it with your meals with little oil on it.
NOTE: You can eat this tasty flax seeds chutney with your
meals by adding it on salads. Mix it with curd and serve it with your meals.
You can also make this chutney with peanuts and sesame
seeds.
