CHOCOLATE OATS SQUARES





No bake chocolate ,peanut butter ,oatmeal bars are easy to make an easier to eat. It is a wonderful bar cookie sprinkled with nuts and chocolate chips ,topped with oats mixture and pressed down in chocolate and peanut butter. When you will bring this treat to a gathering your guests will definitely be tempted to start.



 INGREDIENTS:
1 Cup Butter

½ Cup Granulated Sugar

1 Tsp Vanilla Extract

3 Cups Oats

1 Cup Chocolate chips/ chopped chocolate

1/2 Cup Peanut Butter



METHOD:

STEP 1 - Melt butter in a large sauce pan over medium heat, stir in sugar, oats and vanilla extract. Cook over low heat for 2-3 mins. or until the ingredients get mixed well.


STEP 2 - Put the above half of the mixture in a flat plate with the butter paper greased with clarified butter and press it .



STEP 3 - In another pan melt chocolate, peanut butter over low heat, stirring continuously.

STEP 4 - Pour this chocolate mixture over the oat mixture in the plate and then pour the remaining half of oat mixture over it and press it gently.


STEP 5 - Cover it and refrigerate for 2/3 hrs. or overnight .

STEP 6 - Bring it to room temperature before cutting.






                                               Serve it cold .

NOTE: You may use the flavoured oats like here I used half plain oats and half strawberry flavoured.
