HOMEMADE LEMONADE/ LEMON SQUASH

Would you like to make fresh-squeezed lemonade right from the lemons? When life hands you lemons, make [a delicious twist on] lemonade. This is really simple recipe and there is nothing better than fresh homemade lemonade on a nice hot summer day. It is a real simple recipe, so gather up your supplies, make sure that they are all lined up on the counter, or in an easy-to –see spot. Also, make sure that all of your supplies are cleaned, your hands washed .

It’s summer and it is starting to get hot. If your family is like mine, you’ll need something ice-cold in the refrigerator to quench everyone’s thirst. This homemade lemonade hits the spot every single time.

I have made it quick and easy with the fresh squeezed lemon juice instead of  bottled lemon juice. If you don’t have time then, go ahead and substitute the bottled juice. You can use less cold water if you want a stronger lemonade. Hope you all love this easy homemade lemonade recipe.

INGREDIENTS:

20-25 Lemons

2 Cups Sugar

3 Cups Water

METHOD:

STEP 1 – Squeeze out the juice from all the lemons. Filter it and keep aside.

STEP 2 – Take a container and make sugar syrup till the single string consistency stirring continuously. [very thin string]

STEP 3 – Swtich off the gas and cool down the sugar syrup completely at room temperature.

STEP 4 – After that add the lemon juice to the sugar syrup and mix well.

STEP 5 – Store it in a clean container in the refrigerator.

Serving Idea:

While serving, take ¼ cup lemonade and ¾ cup chilled water. If needed, add salt while serving.

NOTE: Don’t squeeze the lemons much tightly, it will give a bitter taste.
You can store it for near about a month, if stored in refrigerator.
