POMEGRANATE LEMONADE

Lemonade in all its forms is one my favourite beverages.  I love all the flavoured lemonades you can find from pomegranate lemonade to peach lemonade. Today I am going to share the recipe for Pomegranate Lemonade which is very simple to make and is a must have in this busy holiday season. It doesn’t take hardly any time at all to make and it’s such a refreshing summer twist on traditional lemonade. The beautiful pink colour of the pomegranate juice just looks so pretty up against that lemon yellow. This Pomegranate Lemonade is very easy to make. For this I prepared and used fresh Pomegranate Juice but you can use the store brought too. Also used Lemonade which I had made at home and stored it in my fridge. This is the best option to beat the heat and it truly makes the best holiday drink..!! It is delicious, tangy, sweet and also festive looking. This is such a fun treat to share with friends and I am so glad that my daughter loved it a lot. Do try it at your place and serve it to your guests or family members and enjoy.

INGREDIENTS:
1 ½ Cup Cold Water
1 ½ Cup Cold Sparkling Water / Club Soda / Sprite
½ Cup Cold Pomegranate Juice[see notes]
¼ Cup Lemonade [see notes]
1 Lemon Slice for garnishing

METHOD:
STEP 1 – Pour the pomegranate kernels in blender and blend it well.  Pour the juice through the strainer to strain the pulp of pomegranate seeds.  Use spatula to help press out the pulp.
STEP 2 – Add this fresh juice in a glass with water and mix it once.
STEP 3 – Now add lemonade it with lots of ice cubes and some mint leaves.
STEP 4 – Finally, add sparkling water or sprite and serve it immediately.

NOTES: *You can use fresh pomegranate juice as I used.
*Here I used my homemade Lemonade, recipe is already shared on my blog.
