PINEAPPLE RAITA



Pineapple raita, a perfect blend of fresh ripe pineapple and creamy yogurt, is an instant and yummy Indian dip. Pineapple is one of the nature’s greatest gift to us and this raita is one of the many ways to enjoy this gift. It is perfect sweet and sour accompaniment its own. Pineapple raita is a cooling and refreshing side dish for any meal; it is a perfect blend of pineapple chunks and creamy yogurt.


INGREDIENTS:
½ Cup Chopped Fresh Pineapple
1 Cup Thick Curd Chilled
1 tablespoon Sugar [as per taste]
Salt as required
Black Pepper Powder [optional]
Some Cherries for garnishing

METHOD:
 STEP1 – Take curd in a bowl and add sugar and salt to it and mix well. Beat it until smooth.
STEP 2 – Add chopped fresh pineapple pieces, mix well.
STEP 3 – Transfer it to individual serving bowls and garnish with cherries and serve chilled .


Serve chilled pineapple raita as an accompaniment with your favourite meal. Serve it with any spicy rice dish like biryani /vegetable pulao or as a sidedish.

NOTE: You can avoid sugar if you don’t like sweet taste.
             You can use canned pineapple for this dessert.
