GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE



The absolute best, richest and easiest cake. Perfect for Chocolate Lovers!! This is my favorite chocolate cake recipe because of it's moist texture and rich chocolate flavour. I am not good at baking but i try it sometimes.



INGREDIENTS:


100 gms Milk chocolate [chopped]

4 Eggs

1 ½ cup Sugar

2 cups Refined flour

1 tsp Soda bicarbonate

1 cup Buttermilk

½ cup Almond [chopped]

1 cup Oil

¼ tsp Citric acid

Salt to taste


METHOD:


STEP 1 - Preheat oven at 180 `C.

STEP 2 - Boil 1 cup water in a deep non-stick pan and add chocolate  , mix well and switch heat off .
             Set it cool.

STEP 3 - Break eggs into a bowl, beat well with a beater till light and frothy. Add sugar and beat again.

STEP 4 - Sieve together refined flour, salt and soda bicarbonate in a bowl, mix well.

STEP 5 - Add chocolate, buttermilk and mix well. Add walnuts, oil and citric acid and mix well.

STEP 6 - Pour into a greased baking tray, place in a preheated oven and bake for 30-40 mins.

STEP 7 - Remove it, let it cool and then demould it .Make slices and serve.
